Cabling

Cabling is often one of the least considered aspects of a network. Existing office wiring may be insufficient to withstand today's demanding network requirements.

Careless and/or overstretched network and electrical cabling is both dangerous and can lead to loss of data, damage to equipment and is a threat to health and safety.

A well thought out network and electrical cabling infrastructure will allow for future growth and changes in equipment location - allowing flexibility when required.

We offer network, basic telephone and electrical cabling.

We will assess your requirements and implement a cabling solution to suit your current and future requirements.

We also offer a telephone cabling service such as the relocation of telephone sockets to fit in with your new office layout.

Our qualified electrician will be able to extend or add to your existing electrical sockets.

Our network implementation is fully project managed and our technicians will be available at any time, ensuring you are kept up-to-date with progress.

Network configuration

Computer networks are essential in today's office environment and a well planned and implemented network can mean the difference between efficiency and having large gaps in your business continuity.

The sharing of files or peripheral hardware such as printers, scanners or faxes has meant that a network configuration has to be well planned to ensure that security (sensitive files only accessed by authorised users) and accessibility (problem free and immediate access to resources) are maintained.

The most recent high speed networks ensure quick access to large files such as video and Internet connections and must be configured to ensure they are routed through secure technology such as firewalls.

We will audit your existing technology and determine necessary changes (if any) to suit the business requirements. This audit will enable us to determine the level of security (file shares) and speed requirements (difference between access to MS Office files and media files). We will then procure the hardware and our technicians will install and configure.
