One of the most difficult things to achieve in a company is successful change management from old methods to new systems. This is no different when it comes to a change in technology.
Technology change management involves an in-depth understanding of current and future technology and close relationship with the people who are affected by the change. This means:
- Ensuring that the change provides benefits to the company
- Determine what the change involves and who will be affected
- Make sure those affected buy into the changes by involving them in the process planning
- Ensure that everyone realises the benefit of the changes to be implemented and regular communication with all stakeholders
- Ensure that those affected are trained in new processes or new software
- Monitor progress after implementation to enable continuous improvements
We have a variety of skills that will help to achieve successful change management, including 3 MBAs (from the business, accounting and technology perspective), network administrators and analysts and trainers. We also have extensive project management skills to ensure that all stages of change are transparent and well managed.
