The Internet has now become commonplace in many UK homes, the August 2009 report from the Office for National Statistics show that 70% of households now have an Internet connection (18.31 million homes). In 2008 10% of total sales in the UK (£105bn) were conducted over the Internet and 15% of businesses were using the Internet to sell their products.

This means that now more than ever it is important to build and maintain a website that includes the necessary intelligence based on visitor behaviour to continuously improve the experience, reach a wider audience, build customer loyalty and market other goods and services.

Web analytics and optimisation are methods of obtaining information and updating the site to achieve this. Our services include:

  • Site analysis - testing of current web-site for speed and quality of code
  • Web analytics - web based interface to test blocks of text, images or headlines for user activity, tracking or conversion rates. Statistics include source of visitor (Google etc), keywords in search and browser
  • SEO - optimisation of keywords to push to the top of a Google search, identification of most effective keywords and options such as pay-per-click
  • Implementation of changes to site or complete rebuild

To ensure a good return on investment on any web-site, it is no longer sufficient to build and upload your web-site and the opportunities for success can be enormous with the right intelligence.
